I WAS FORCED

I was bullied into starting a blog. Apparently there are some people out there who are interested in my life and would like to know how my family is doing, or something like that.
Jocelynn is doing what every 4 year old does (driving her parents crazy). She will be starting kindergarten this August. We enrolled her in a charter school in our neighborhood. She is extremely excited about the fact that they have pet birds there. She can't wait to show her teacher her mad writing and addition skills. She practices everyday and knows most the sounds that letters of the alphabet make. She does fairly well with basic addition and is now trying to conquer the frustrating world of subtraction! She is counting down the days until her 5th birthday, which she hopes to celebrate at Chuck E Cheese.
Tory is working as much as the slow winter months and economy will allow. He is ready for summer and everything that comes with it. (120 Degrees, tight attics, long work days and weeks) Yeah I don't get it either, money makes people do crazy things! J/K! He has been putting our garage to good use tearing apart his Monte Carlo in his spare time. He has the whole front end torn apart. He has a new paint gun and can't wait to get to work with.
I have been studying as much as my brain and Jocelynn will allow! I want to start school soon after Jocelynn does. I was thinking about becoming a Nurse, but now I am leaning more toward Respiratory Therapy.
So in a nut shell we are all happy, healthy and doing well. We are very happy living in Phoenix.

  2. Thanks for being bullied! I love to hear what is going on with you guys!

I thought I was the crazy sister. Don't look or admit it but you are homeschooling. Your looking for trouble! Now Joc is going to be way ahead of the class, she'll get bored, then she'll get in trouble. I've heard the story a million times. ; ) Let me know when you need some help with that math. Love ya!

  4. I think she is where she should be. Shouldn't all 4-6 year olds know the alphabet, how to write they're names, and basic addition? Besides you can't homeschool here without a teaching license or degree anymore.
